Used in Pedersoli 1874 Sharps (Smokeless Powder Rated)
Shot from 1874 Sharps Falling Block Reproduction in .45-70 Gov't graded for smokeless powder by Pedersoli. Performed very well; 39 rounds were used with zero failures. The produced reasonably accurate groupings. Test fire was at 50 yards with open sights. Looking forward to attempting 100, 200 and 300 yards with ladder sights and a tang peep sight. This felt very low recoil, but to be fair, my rifle weighs 13 lbs with a 34" barrel. I imagine in shorter, lighter rifles you would feel more. In mine, it was a pleasure to shoot. The first 45-70 Gov't rounds I've been able to shoot! Shipped very fast; thus far, I am very satisfied with the product. The price was the best on the market I could find; hope it stays this way, as the cost savings were tremendously good per round.

Cycles excellent in my Henry lever action. Fires good and only took a handful of cartridges to zero in on a new rifle. Ships quick. Bought a second case and will be ordering more from Ammo Wholesale!!!
